And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the Lord sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. So take this seriously. The Lord has chosen you to build a Temple as his sanctuary. Be strong, and do the work. -David to Solomon (1 Chronicles 28:9-10)

seek (v.) /s'ik/
-try to get or reach
-make an effort or attempt
-to inquire for
-a quest for something
-to go to or towards
-to try to locate or discover, or try to establish the existence of something

Isaiah 55:6
Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.

Hebrews 11:6
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Zephaniah 2:3
Seek the Lord, all who are humble,
and follow his commands.
Seek to do what is right
and to live humbly.

Father, help us to never tire of seeking You. Let your people stop and look for Your light in everyday interaction. Because it's there. Let us reflect Your light and love. Amen.
