I don't need a telescope...

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
-Søren Kierkegaard

Thank ya Lord for the ability to look at things retrospectively. It doesn't make the current situation much better, but it gives me hope.
Learning from major mistakes I've made in the year, along with a better understanding of what grace is, has caused a great change in this thing that thumps in my chest. I started looking in detail where and how things went wrong. Though that's painful, it's also really helpful.
I was asked to write out my story of meeting Jesus, and it forced me to look back to where I was what feels like a very short time ago. That was the first time I'd seen it all on one piece of paper. A life on a piece of paper. From dust to dust, amiright? I like feeling small.

Darling, I need your email address. I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever...which kind of stinks. I want to hear about God and college and boys.
